TYPE:— CHINA. Sichuan: Huidong Xian, 2000–3000 m, 9 October 1964, J. S. Yue et al. 64199 (holotype: NAS).
Etymology:—The new specific epithet is in honor of Prof. Shan Renhwa, who is outstanding on the Chinese Apiaceae and described this species for the first time.
