[ Syntype: ANSP; Albuquerque , New Mexico, USA; August 16, 1895]

As the name suggests, this species specializes on pollen from the plant genus Chamaesaracha (A. Gray) Benth. ( Fowler 2020) . This species has been sampled in the Coastal Sage Matorral in Ensenada, BC. Specimens are preserved in the CNIN. See fig. 45.
