Description:

Female (N=2, figs. 6, 91, 93–94):

Total length 11.2 mm (N=1)

Head (fig. 93): Width 1.2 mm. Brownish-black, rather short and wide. Antenna nearly as long as head width, flagellum 1.0 mm long, 0.23 mm wide, conical, 8-segmented, ultimate flagellomere small. Complex eye rather small.

Thorax: Length 2.9 mm, width 2.2 mm. Brownish-black, humeri brown, haltere light brown.

Legs: Brown, slender. Fore femur 2.3 mm long, 0.38 mm wide, hind femur 2.9 mm long, 0.44 mm wide, hind tibia 3.5 mm long, 0.30 mm wide.

Wing (fig. 91): Length 9.8 mm, width 3.4 mm, length/width = 2.9. Oval overall shape, light brownish fumose, veins brown throughout, distinctive, R-veins strong, posterior veins considerably finer. Pterostigma oval, brown, not highly distinctive. Costal cell slightly darkened. Humeral vein present, oblique. Subcosta prominent, long and straight. R 2+3 long, horizontal, sharply bent near base, slightly sinuous. Costa extends to apex of R 4+5, which is evenly, gently curved. Crossvein R-M short and vertical, much closer to R 2+3 than to R 1. Fork of M a little rounded. Crossvein bM-Cu joins M far basad to R-M. CuA-veins fine, CuA 2 apically a little bent basad. CuP fine and straight, reaches wing margin. A 1 visible basally only. Vein measurements are given in Table 3.

Abdomen (fig. 94): Length 8.5 mm, width 2.3 mm. Dark brown, conical. Cerci two-segmented, terminal segment slender and pointed.

Male (N=2, figs. 7, 92):

Head: Width 1.3 mm. Dark brown, antennal flagellum 0.67 mm long, 0.16 mm wide..

Thorax: Length 3.1 mm. Brownish-black, haltere light brown.

Legs: Brown, slender. Fore femur 2.0 mm long, 0.30 mm wide, hind femur 3.0 mm long, 0.42 mm wide.

Wing (fig. 92): Length 8.0 mm, width 2.4 mm, length/width = 3.4. Yellowish-brown fumose, darker than in female. Venation as in female, vein measurements are given in Table 3.

Abdomen: Width 1.5 mm. Basally rather wide, tapering in the middle. Terminalia not preserved.
