TYPE:— CHINA. Guizhou, Nai-kou-tan, Langtai, by side of stream, 6 November 1930, Tsiang 9544 (lectotype designated here: BM000600002 ; isolectotypes: K000739473 , NY00186144 , PE00866304 , PE01843418 , S09-5345 , US 00096930)
Notes: Seven sheets of Tsiang 9544 have been found from different herbaria, all bearing the same printed label ‘ sp. nov ’.
We designated BM 000600002 as the lectotype, for which identification characters such as obovate leaves, fimbriate petals, and 5-lobed staminodes were well presented.
