COMMENTS. The first record in the province. Initially reported from Russia by Logunov [1992], later found in Kunashir Island (Marusik, personal data). In addition to Hokkaido (type locality) and Russia, reported also from Qinghai and Jilin, China [ Song et al., 1999], But the Qinghai record seems to refer to a sibling species, P. selengenis (Odenwall, 1901) distributed from Tuva to southern Mongolia ( Logunov et al., 1998; Marusik & Logunov, 1998].
