Paratylenchus tenuicaudatus Wu, 1961
Esmaeili et al. 2016b:
10♀: L = 330 (305–365) µm; a = 20.3 (16.9–23.5); b = 3.9 (3.7–4.5); c = 11.0 (8.7–12.0); c' = 3.4 (2.8–4.7); St = 25 (22.0–30.0) µm; V = 80 (75–85)
3♂: L = 234 (210–260) µm; a = 17.3 (16.2–18.2); c = 5.8 (5.3–6.8); Spicules = 19.8 (18.0–22.0) µm
Associated plant and locality: Alfalfa from Kermanshah ( Esmaeili et al. 2016b [F, M] [restudy])
Note. This population differs from P. tenuicaudatus in having a truncated lip region with small but distinct submedian lobes from lateral view (vs. hemispherical lip region without distinct submedian lobes), pear-shaped pharyngeal basal bulb (vs. elongated) and smaller body size. It seems that this Iranian population is more similar to P. arculatus .
