Holotype. male, CHINA, Hainan, Wuzhishan, Shuiman , 7-viii-2009, coll. Zhuqing HE ( ECNU) . Paratypes: 5 males & 3 females, same data as holotype ( ECNU) , 1 male & 1 female, CHINA, Hainan, Limushan , 13-viii-2009, coll. Zhuqing HE ( ECNU) .

Description. Male. Body small. Head slightly wider than pronotum, eyes big and protruding, several long bristles on frontal rostrum, 1 st antennal joint as wide as frontal rostrum, 3rd-5th joints of maxillary palpi elongate, 5th joint not widened. Fore wing extending to apex of abdomen, mirror longer than width, tympanum on outer side of fore tibiae only, 3 pairs of dorsal spurs on posterior tibiae and 5 apical spurs with two internal apical spurs long and three outer ones very short. Genitalia narrow apically, different from the other two species mentioned below ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE2 EF).

Female. Fore wing convex with 7-8 parallel veins, no false vein. Ovipositor short and curved.

Coloration. Male. Head red with a large black spot between bases of antennae, antennae black with first joint yellow. Pronotal disk black, in some individuals, two reddish brown spots on disk, lateral lobes of pronotum black with one narrow yellow line on ventral. Fore wing transparent, black near Cu2 vein. All legs yellow (green when alive). Cerci yellow ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 EF).

Female. Fore wing black, not transparent.

Measurements. (in mm) Body: male 6.1-6.5, female 5.8-6.2; forewing: male 3.8-4.2, female 3.7-3.9; hind femur: male 5.1-5.3, female 5.3-5.4; ovipositor 2.5.

Etymology. Species name means the color of its legs.

Biology. This species occurs gregariously on large leaves of Alocasia sp. and the crickets move from one side to the other to effect escape.

Distribution. China (Hainan).

Songs. CHINA, Hainan, Wuzhishan, Shuiman, 7-viii-2009. 27 degree. Male calling song. Total duration of chirps is 0.8101± 0.026s with interval 1.4626± 0.2502s. There are 41.250± 1.893s pulses in one chirp with the first 6- 10 pulses not as strong as later pulses. The pulse duration is about 0.010± 0.001s with interval 0.0086± 0.001s. Carrier wave period is about 0.140±0.004ms and means frequency is 7040.5±24.826Hz ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ).

Discussion. The male of the new species is similar to Anaxipha fuscocinctum (Chopard, 1925) , but the new species differs in the lateral lobe of pronotum being black with yellow stripe on ventral and the forewing area near Cu2 black. The female is similar to Trigonidium cicindeloides Rambur, 1838 , but fore and middle tibia of the new species are yellow.
