Paratrichocladius tamaater Sasa, 1981: 20 View in CoL ; Yamamoto 2004: 75.
Diagnostic characters. Total length 2.66 mm. Wing length 1.60 mm. AR 1.14. The chaetotaxy of the abdomen is reduced, and arranged in three groups, an oral transverse row, a caudal transverse row, and a pair of lateral longitudinal rows. Inferior volsella bilobed. This species is similar to P. a t e r Wang et Zheng because of the shape of inferior volsella, but they can separate by the AR, coloration, humeral pit and the chaetotaxy of the abdomen.
Distribution. Japan.
Remarks. The holotype was not examined, but we found the photos of this species.
