Distribution. Philippines.
Remarks. The genus Paraidioscopus Maldonado-Capriles includes three known species distributed in India and the Philippines. Paraidioscopus palawensis (Baker) was transferred to this genus by Maldonado-Capriles (1964). This species differs from the other species of Paraidioscopus in having the forewing with a m-cu1 crossvein, the aedeagal shaft short and without process and the differently shaped style. It may not belong to Paraidioscopus .
