Distribution: Common throughout the country, South and Southeast Asia (Ramakrishna and Dey, 2007).

Note: This species was collected from the upstream of the falls; observed live specimens attached to the rocky substrate and crawling on muddy substrate of the river bank. Dead shells were equally collected from nearby areas.
