Holotype. Left valve, Eötvös Museum of Natural History, EMNH 1.2011.2.4.1., fig. 6/11.

Paratype. right valve, Eötvös Museum of Natural History , EMNH 1.2011.2.2.4., fig. 6/10.

Type locality. Litér quarry, Hungary.

Type level. Ladinian, Buchenstein Formation, Bed 14.

Material. Litér quarry, Bed 14, Ladinian: 1 left valve, 1 right valve; Bed 2, Ladinian: 1 left valve; Bed 15, Ladinian: 1 right valve.

Dimensions. L: 1571–2000 µm, H: 1028–1170 µm, L/H: 1.53–1.7.

Diagnosis. A species of Palaeocypridina , with a pointed posterior end, straight posterodorsal margin, nuchal furrow, and a rostrum with a horizontal ventral edge.

Description. Carapace subtriangular with a projecting rostrum, and an acuminate posterior end terminating in an acute caudal process; ventral edge of the rostrum horizontal; anteroventral margin not extending past the tip of the rostrum; anterodorsal and posterodorsal margins straight and trend downward from the point of maximum height; maximum height before midlength; ventral margin convex; carapace smooth; internal features cannot be examined.
