Redescription. Length 14.8–15.5 mm, width 10.2–10.5 mm. General color yellow; antennomeres V or VI–XI, thoracic and abdominal ventrites and legs black; outer sides of tibiae yellowish brown; pronotum with two pairs of dark spots, inner pair larger. Antennae filiform in males ( Fig. 68A View FIGURE 68 ), antennomeres IV longest, III and IV slightly serrate, VI–XI elongate, length ratios of antennomeres I–XI 1.0: 0.5: 1.0: 1.1: 1.0: 0.9: 0.9: 0.8: 0.7: 0.7: 0.9, length to width ratios of antennomeres I–IX 2.3: 1.8: 2.7: 3.0: 2.9: 2.9: 2.7: 2.7: 2.5: 2.2: 3.6; shorter in female ( Fig. 68B View FIGURE 68 ), length ratios of antennomeres I–XI 1.0: 0.4: 0.9: 0.9: 0.7: 0.7: 0.7: 0.7: 0.6: 0.6: 0.7, length to width ratios of antennomeres I–IX 2.8: 1.6: 3.1: 3.0: 2.6: 2.6: 2.6: 2.3: 2.0: 2.1: 2.9. Pronotum transverse, 2.2x wider than long, disc with sparse, fine punctures, baso-lateral angles rounded, apico-lateral angles rectangular, apical margin strongly concave. Elytra elongate oval, widest near base, 1.2x longer than wide; moderately convex, epipleurae located 7/10 distance between suture and lateral margins. Penis ( Figs 68C–68E View FIGURE 68 ) elongate, 5.6x longer than wide; parallel-sided; apically bifurcate, apices approximate; tectum truncate, with extremely deep notch at middle; srongly curved near base in lateral view, apex narrowly rounded; ventral surface with extremely deep and narrow notch form apex to basal 1/3, inside apex membranous; endophallic sclerite complex comprising one pair of lateral sclerites, dorso-ventrally flattened, with acute process at middle, base connected with dorsal surface of penis. Apical margin of abdominal ventrite V in female rounded. Gonocoxae ( Fig. 68F View FIGURE 68 ) reduced to a pair of minute triangular sclerites. Ventrite VIII ( Fig. 68G View FIGURE 68 ) longitudinal, quadrate, with dense, short setae slong apical margin; spiculum well sclerotized and short. Receptacle of spermatheca ( Fig. 68H View FIGURE 68 ) as wide as pump, connected to pump, basally narrowed; pump strongly curved; proximal spermathecal duct short, medially broadened, apex covered with several transverse grooves.

Variation. A few specimens possess reduced black spots on the pronotum and yellow legs and antennae.

Diagnosis. This species belongs to O. tarsata species group. For differences between species see diagnosis of O. geiseri sp. nov.

Host plant. Vitaceae : Vitis vinifera (grape) ( Yu 1985). Yu (1985) recorded the biology of O. tarsata in Guizhou. This was a misidentification and refers to O. ustulaticia based on the collecting locality.

Bolm; 3 exs. ( TARI), Lushuihe (綠水 河), 28.IV.2016; 1♀ ( NMPC), Mengtze; (1♂, 1♀: MNHUB; 1♀: NMPC; 1♂: NMW), Vallis Flumin, Soling-ho.; ( MNHUB), same locality; 11 exs. ( TARI), Xiaoweixi (小維西), 13.V.2013; 2♂♂, 2♀♀ ( NMPC), coll. J. Achard.

Distribution. China (Guizhou, Yunnan) ( Fig. 40 View FIGURE 40 ). Those specimens identified as Oides tarsata from Guizhou ( Zhang et al. 2005a, 2005b; Zhang & Yang 2007) should refer to this species.
