Odontofroggatia ishii Wiebes, 1980: 6 View in CoL ; figs 5, 11; pl. I, fig. 3, described ♀ ♂, specimens reared from Ficus microcarpa L. by E. J. H. Corner in Malaya, Penang. The female holotype is deposited in RMNH (no. 3255) and some paratypes are deposited in BMNH ( Wiebes 1980).
Diagnosis. Female ( Figs 1 View FIGURE 1 E, F): antennal formula 11063, funicular segments tightly connected, with a row of strong longitudinal plate sensilla extending slightly beyond distal margin; toruli separated by distance approximately two-thirds of torulus diameter; propodeum with two distinct sub-median longitudinal ridges in posterior two-thirds connected to two curved ridges in anterior third that form more or less W-like pattern; metasoma not compressed; Male ( Figs 1 View FIGURE 1 G, H): antennal toruli separated by distance about one-third torulus diameter, and distant from clypeal margin by distance subequal to torulus diameter; clypeal margin with two wide protruding lobes and a narrow cleft between them; head without longitudinal median keel; petiole about two times as wide as long and with a lateral tooth.
Distribution. China ( Hong Kong, Hainan, Taiwan), Hawaii (O’ahu), Malaya, Papua –New Guinea, USA (California, Florida) ( Beardsley 1998; Chen et al. 1999).
