Odontofroggatia gajimaru Ishii, 1934: 9 View in CoL –97; pl. II, figs 12–16, described ♀ ♂, specimens reared from Ficus retusa L. var. nitida (= Ficus microcarpa ) by H. Yashiro in Japan (Naha, Okinawa). Types are deposited in the Imperial Agricultural Experiment Station ( Ishii 1934 View in CoL ; Wiebes 1980).
Diagnosis. (Based on description in Ishii 1934 .) Female: antennal formula 11063, funicular segments tightly connected, the first funicular segment without plate sensilla, the other 5 funicular segments with a row of longitudinal plate sensilla extending only slightly beyond distal margin ( Ishii 1934 , pl. II, fig. 13); propodeum dorsal surface with a median ridge; metasoma considerably compressed. Male: antennal toruli at clypeal margin; petiole with a lateral tooth.
Distribution. China (Guangdong, Taiwan), Japan, Malaya ( Bouček 1988; Chen et al. 1999; Yokoyama & Iwatsuki 1998).
