Caucas Exp. Urmiana ) ( ZIN) .
Distribution. N.W. Iran: Azerbaijan Province, Danalu, Baradost, Nazlıçay, Tabriz, Khoroz-chah ( Fig. 848 View FIGURE 848 ).
Remarks. Mistshenko ( Bey-Bienko & Mistshenko 1951: 357) distinguished N. urmianus carinatus from the nominotypical subspecies by the depressed vertex, the longer middle segment of female antenna, the presence of a distinct rounded projection of ovipositor near the bases of ventral valves and the male hind tibia with 9 outer spines (with 8 spines in nominotypical form). Except the number of outer spines of the hind tibia which is also variable in females all the other characters are variable in the paratypes of N. urmianus urmianus . I concluded that both subspecies belong to the same taxon.
