Melanoides tuberculata (O. F. Müller, 1774) ( Figure 3 )

Distribution: Common throughout the country (Ramakrishna and Dey, 2007).

Note: Along with dead shells, a few specimen was collected from the upstream of the falls, observed attached to the rocky substrate.
