Habitus ( Fig. 50 View FIGURES 50–56 ). Total length 11mm, wing length 9mm. Light yellow with strong brown pattern. Head brown, sides of frontoclypeus, M-line and tentorial marks yellow, lower face brown. A transverse brown band extends across middle of pronotum, lower face yellow. Meso- and metanotum, sides in front of pleural suture and sides of basisternum brown. Abdomen yellow. Antenna yellow at base, distally darkened. Cercus yellow at base, distal part missing. Legs dark brown, median third of profemur yellow, more yellow on middle femur, hind femur mainly yellow.
Male. Unknown.
Female ( Fig. 51–52 View FIGURES 50–56 ). S8 unmodified. There are many concentric folds on top of the vagina, lateral sclerotized rods among the lower folds are visible in side view or by transparency. The long and narrow extension between the top reaches far back into S9. If structures in the extension are a pair of coalescent sclerites or a single one with Ushaped cross section is uncertain. Egg not available.
Etymology. The name is a Latin adjective describing the dark band across the pronotum.
