( Figure 8B View FIGURE 8 )
Chasmagnathus granulatus Dana, 1851: 251 View in CoL .
Material examined. Brazil, São Paulo: 1 ♀, CCDB 6180 View Materials , Ubatuba, Praia Dura mangrove, coll. F. Mantelatto, 22.iv.2012 .
Distribution. Western Atlantic—Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul), Uruguay, and Argentina ( Rathbun 1918; Boschi 1964; Coelho & Ramos 1972; Melo et al. 1989; Melo 1990, 1996; Spivak 2010; Colpo et al. 2011; Pinheiro & Boos 2016).
Remarks. Previous record on the coast of São Paulo state includes only the mangrove of Itapanhaú in Bertioga ( Colpo et al. 2011). It is noticeable that this species is especially abundant on the border between the coast of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro states (in mangrove of Paraty city), but not found in other areas (F.L. Mantelatto pers. obs.). Sequences accession number (GenBank): CCDB 3463—16S ( KU313178 View Materials ), COI ( KU313193 View Materials ) ( Mantelatto et al. 2018a).
