Nemoura geei Wu, 1929 View in CoL
Nemoura geei Wu, 1929: 200 . Type locality: Beijing (Wo-fu-ssu), China; Nemoura pekinensis Claassen, 1929: 511 ; Nemoura brevicercia Zhiltzova, 1982: 37 .
Material examined. 2 males, CHINA: Henan Province, Huixian County, Bali Gully, 800–1100 m, 35°58.62’ N, 113°59.70’ E, 4.IV.2011, coll. X.P. Li.
Distribution. China (Beijing, Henan); Russia, Japan, Korea.
Remarks. This species was previously only known from Beijing, and is recorded here for the first time from Henan Province. It also has been reported from the Russian Far East, Japan and Korea (Zhiltzova 1982, 2003; Zwick 2010; Murányi and Park 2011). The Henan record apparently represents the southernmost distribution in Palearctic region.
Amphinemura sinensis (Wu, 1926) ( Figs. 18–23 View FIGURES 18 – 23 )
Nemoura (Amphinemura) sinensis Wu, 1926 . J. Sci. Arts. 5: 331. Type locality: Jiangsu (Nanking, Ning Kuo Temple). Amphinemura sinensis: Baumann, 1975 . Smithson. Contr. Zool. 211: 12.
Material examined. 4 males, CHINA: Henan Province, Huixian County, Bali Gully, 800 m, 35.5862 N, 113.5970 E, 2011. IV.4, X.P. Li; 6 males, same locality, 2011. IV.10, W.H. Li.
Distribution. China (Beijing, Henan, Jiangsu).
Remarks. This species was originally collected in the vicinity of Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu and recently redescribed from specimens taken in Beijing (Yang et al. in press). The above specimens represent a new record for Henan Province. The dorsal sclerite of the epiproct has a pair of unusually broad lateral arms and the truncate appearance of the ventral ridge of the median process covered with spines as usually seen in dorsal view ( Figs. 18– 23 View FIGURES 18 – 23 ) is distinctive for this species.
