Tunicae bulbi tenebris brunneis. Folia decumbentes. Scapus erectus. Spatha ca. 3.4 cm, quam pedidicelli multo longiora. Perigonium album. Hypanthium vix descendens. Ovarium medium viridi.
Type: — SPAIN. Andalusia: Cordoba, Villaviciosa de Cordoba municipality, Riscos de Vera, elevation 498 m, 30SUH4008, 30 March 2018, J. López Tirado 58548 (holotype COA).
Bulb with dark brown tunics. Leaves 2, 16 ‒ 22.5 × 0.1–0.2 cm, linear, decumbent, semicilindric in transversal section with 6–8 keels abaxially. Scape erect, 1-flowered, ca. 18 cm long. Spathe ca. 3.4 cm long, scarious, with darker nerves, much longer than pedicel. Spathe tube ca. 1.4 cm long. Pedicel ca. 1.2 cm long. Flower diameter ca. 5.0 cm. Tepals white, elliptic, patent, ca. 2.2 cm long; outer tepals ca. 0.9 cm wide, with greenish macula in the apex; inner tepals ca. 0.7 cm wide. Corona white, ca. 0.4 cm long, ca. 0.8 cm in diameter distally, not expanded, slightly tri-lobed. Hypanthial tube ca. 1.5 cm long, green, white in the distal part, slightly downwards. Perigonium ca. 1.9 cm long. Style ca. 2.9 cm long. Ovary ca. 0.9 cm long, ca. 0.3 cm maximum diameter, mid green.
Eponymy: —The specific epithet honours Dr. Jesús M. Muñoz Álvarez, professor of Botany at the University of Cordoba, Spain.
