Molomea cincta (Signoret 1854) View in CoL
Diagnosis. Posterior region of pronotum with a broad yellow transverse band. Male: subgenital plates reach onethird of the length of pygofer; aedeagus without apical processes.
Female terminalia. Abdominal sternite VII, in ventral view ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 1 – 20 ), with lateral margins slightly convergent posteriorly, lateroposterior margins broadly rounded, and posterior margin with shallow median concavity (Mshaped), bearing small triangular projection medially; surface with scattered microsetae. Pygofer, in lateral view, slightly produced posteriorly; surface with scattered microsetae, and a few macrosetae on posteroventral region of disc. First valvifers, in lateral view, longer than tall; with small spiniform processes on ventral region. First ovipositor valvulae, in lateral view, slightly rectilinear beyond basal curvature and then narrowing gradually toward apex; dorsal and ventral sculptured areas formed by scale-like processes arranged in oblique lines; apex acute ( Fig. 28 View FIGURES 21 – 40 ), with denticles on dorsal and ventral margins. Second valvulae, in lateral view, rectilinear; dorsal margin of blade bearing 32 to 34 noncontiguous teeth, each tooth subrectangular, with denticles along entire dorsal margin ( Fig. 48 View FIGURES 41 – 60 ); ducts extending toward teeth and toward apical blade portion; apex rounded ( Fig. 68 View FIGURES 61 – 80 ), with denticles on dorsal and ventral margins; preapical ventral prominence conspicuous. Gonoplacs, in lateral view, with small spiniform processes on ventral margin; apex rounded.
