REMARKS. This species was redescribed in detail by Kuijten (1985). The main diagnostic features of female from China are as follows: length 4.5 mm, width 2.4 mm; body unicolorous,
reddish brown; apex of mandible bidentate; eye-canthus is hardly developed ( Figs 1, 2 View Figs 1–7 );
scutellum triangular, densely and coarsely punctate ( Fig. 3 View Figs 1–7 ); first three segments of all tarsi apically inside with tuft of specific flattened, apically round, somewhat claviform, plumose setae ( Figs 4, 5 View Figs 1–7 ). This species was known only from the type locality Chapa in North Vietnam
( Fig. 7 View Figs 1–7 ). New locality in Yunnan, Daweishan (now Daweishan National Nature Reserve) is the humid rainforest in the mainland of China, which belongs to the Beibu-Gulf Center (one of the three biodiversity centers in China) and Indo-Burma hotspot (one of the 34 biodiversity hot-spots worldwide).
