In the API 20NE test, cells are positive for indole production, esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase, β -galactosidase, and assimilation of potassium gluconate and capric acid; but negative for nitrate reduction, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease, and assimilation of D- glucose, L- arabinose, D- mannose, D- mannitol, N -acetyl-glucosamine, D- maltose, adipic acid, malate, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid. Strain BT 721 (= NIBRBAC000508870) was isolat- ed from a soil sample collected from Samcheok, Republic of Korea (37°13 ʹ 02.5 ʺ N 129°03 ʹ 52.9 ʺ E) GoogleMaps .
