Distribution: Common throughout India and South Africa, South and Southeast Asia, including Java, and Melanesia (Ramakrishna and Dey, 2007; Isnaningsih et al., 2018).

Note: Along with dead shells, a few specimen was collected from the upstream of the falls, observed attached to the rocky substrate.
