Description. Body brown with slight, hardly distinguishable greenish tinge, and without any particular dark pattern, only triangular spots in side angles of scutellum distinct (Figs. 28–30). Forewings translucent, brown with black speckles, certain veins in distal part darkened. Legs greenish brown, with black spots. Female in external appearance similar to male.

Body comparatively stout. Frons with a longitudinal carina, pronotum strongly striated. Scutellum with a longitudinal carina.

2nd sternal apodemes slender, more or less triangular, separated by wide gap, with extended blunt tips (Fig. 109).

Pygofer broad, with almost straight caudal margin. Pygofer processes long, exceeding caudodorsal margin, spine-like (Fig. 108). Aedeagal shaft in lateral aspect comparatively slender, broadest at basis, slightly sinuated in distal half, apex in ventral aspect slightly expanded, round, gonopore oval, almost apical (Figs. 110–111). Styles slender, somewhat tapering towards ends, with truncate tips (Fig. 112). Connective thin, with a finger-like protrusion in middle, both lateral arms twisted to dorsum (Figs. 113–114).

Female 7th sternite broad basally, tapering caudally, in midline about 2.5 times as long as 6th one, with a deep notch on posterior margin. Ovipositor projecting beyond pygofer, 2nd valvulae with 4 additional teeth each (Fig. 115).

Body length (including tegmina): 3, 4.0 mm; Ƥ, 4.5 mm.

Host. Unknown.

Distribution. China: Guizhou prov. (new record), India.

Remark. Illustrated description of this species is given in Viraktamath, 1981. May be this species resembles M. campbelli Viraktamath, 1981 and M. linnavuori ( Distant, 1916) in general form and coloration, it differs from them in having narrower apex of style.
