Three ‘syntypes’ are deposited in NMPC (general collection).

SYNTYPE (unsexed specimen): ‘THIBET / Kuku-Nor / 3200m.Coll.Hsr.98. [p] // Lytta / thibetana Esch. / Cotype

[hw, black frame]’. SYNTYPES (2 unsexed specimens): ‘THIBET / Kuku-Nor / 3200m.Coll.Hsr.98. [p]’.

Current status. Junior subjective synonym of Lytta (Poreospasta) sifanica Semenov, 1910 , see BOLOGNA (2008).

Remark. The type status of the specimens listed above is doubtful. The species was described based on six specimens only, and as the specimens in NMPC bear no original Escherich’s identification label, it is possible that they represent rather ‘topotypes’ than syntypes.
