Mexico, Veracruz, Municipality of Juchique de Ferrer, El Tacahuite.
The type locality is El Tacahuite (Municipality of Juchique de Ferrer) and also was collected at El Zapotal (Municipality of de Colipa). Since 2006, this species has been recorded from some other localities of Veracruz, presented below.
