Accepted name: Pouteria venosa (Mart.) Baehni subsp. venosa

Pennington (1990: 398) cited the specimen Casaretto Herb. No. 1921 as “ Riedel s.n. (Casaretto herb. no. 1921) (holotype, TO)” ; however, the TO specimen is a lectotype.
