Lucanus thibetanus furcifer Arrow new status

Lucanus furcifer Arrow, 1950: 46 –48, partim [“ Type (from Yunnan) in the British Museum” and specimens from “Yunnan”]; Bacchus, 1978: 109, partim [lectotype (Yunnan) and a pair of paralectotypes with same data as lectotype].

Lucanus pseudosingularis Didier & Séguy, 1953: 31 , Figs. 3, 7 for male “ androtype ” from Yunnan, Fig. 5 for female “gynetype” from “Pe-yen-Tsin”; Lacroix, 1971: 362, Figs. 6, 6 b for males, Fig. 14 for female. New synonymy.

Lucanus singularis: Lacroix, 1971 : partim [allotype male: Yunnan. coll. British Museum. “ type du Lucanus furcifer Arrow , synonyme de Lucanus singularis Planet ”] (misidentification).

Lucanus thibetanus thibetanus: Mizunuma & Nagai, 1994 : plate 11, Fig. 92-1 for male, Fig. 92-2 for female, all from Yunnan (misidentification).

Lucanus thibetanus katsurai Mizunuma, 1994: 7 , 213, Fig. 1 for male characters, plate 138, Fig. 92-3 for male holotype from Sapa, N. Vietnam; Katsura & Giang, 2002: Figs. 1 a–1e for males, Fig. 1 f for female, all from Sapa, northern Vietnam. Synonymized by Huang & Chen (2010).

Lucanus thibetanus pseudosingularis: Huang & Chen, 2010: 143 , Figs. for habitus of male and female, male and female genitalia.
