( Figs 3 View FIGURE 3 A, 3B, 4J, 8)
Leucophenga nigripalpis Duda, 1924: 188 View in CoL ; Okada, 1989: 808.
Diagnosis. This species is somewhat similar to L. magnipalpis in the patterns of abdominal tergites ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 J), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the mesonotum yellow ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 A), and the pleura yellow, with brown patches above ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 B).

Scutellum brown along basal margin, brownish yellow medially, pale along distal margin ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 A). Halter white ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 B). Abdominal tergites yellow, with brown patches ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 J).
Male terminalia: Epandrium with 3 setae near posterior margin and 5 setae on ventral corner per side ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 A). Paramere with ca. 5 sensilla subapically ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 B). Aedeagus slender basally, with pubescence on distal 1/3 ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 B).
