Distribution:— Sri Lanka, India, Nepal and Southeast Asia to the Pacific.

Liparis forrestii Rolfe , Notes Roy. Bot. Gard. Edinburgh 8: 19, 1913. Type:— MYANMAR. Shan State: Yunnan border, 2135 m, Forrest 261 (holotype: E)

Distribution:— Endemic.

Notes:— The protologue stated ‘Frontier of Upper Burmah and China (Shan States)’. The locality is in Myanmar, not China ( Li & Li 2003: 379).
