Material Examined. Holotype. 1♂ (specimen dissected and mounted in euparal on glass slide, deposited in NIBR), “ Korea: Gangwon Prov. / Misiryeongyet-gil,/ Toseong-myeon, Goseong-gun / / 38°12′48.0′′N 128°28′23.0′′E,/ 370m, 09VI2019 / Sifting of Leaf & log litter near/stream/ J. -S. Park ” GoogleMaps . Paratype. 1♀ ( CBNUIC), same data as holotype GoogleMaps .

Diagnosis. The species can be distinguished from other Korean Leptoplectus by the following combination of characters: metatrochanter with spine ( Fig. 5F View Fig , arrow); each elytron with three basal foveae ( Fig. 5A View Fig , left arrow); median lobe of male genitalia distinctively asymmetric and divided into two branches, left longer than right with many long setae ( Fig. 5G View Fig ).

Description. Body length 1.1–1.4 mm. Body color reddish-brown ( Figs. 4A–B View Fig ). Head. Head subquadrate with vertexal foveae ( Fig. 4C View Fig ). Antennomere 2 subquadrate, 3–10 gradually more transverse, 11 largest ( Fig. 5E View Fig ). Thorax. Pronotum about as long as wide, with lateral antebasal foveae and transverse antebasal sulcus. Prosternum with anteroprosternal foveae and lateral procoxal foveae ( Fig. 4D View Fig ). Each elytron longer than wide with subhumeral basolateral foveae and three basal foveae ( Fig. 5A View Fig , arrows). Pro- and mesotibiae with small preapical tubercle. Metatrochanter with spine. Abdomen. Abdominal tergites IV–V with mediobasal foveae and discal carina ( Fig. 5B View Fig , arrow). Abdominal sternites IV–V with basolateral foveae ( Fig. 5C View Fig , right arrow), IV with mediobasal foveae ( Fig. 5C View Fig , left arrow). Aedeagus. Median lobe of male genitalia distinctively asymmetric and divided into two branches, left longer than right with many long setae ( Fig. 5G View Fig ).

Distribution. Korea ( Fig. 6 View Fig , square).

Habitat. This species was collected during May by sifting leaf and log litter in a wet forest.
