DISTRIBUTION: Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Malawi, Mozambique, Republic of Congo, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Luangwa bridge, between Lusaka and Eastern Provinces ; Abercorn [now Mbala], in Northern Province ; Nyika plateau, in Muchinga Province ; South Luangwa national Park **, in Eastern Province .
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include: two Fabaceae species ( Eriosema engerlanum Harms and another Eriosema sp. ) and one Moraceaespecies ( Morus sp. ) ( Pinhey 1975).
