NOTES. — Hyperdominant in Amazonia ( ter Steege et al. 2020) . L. glycycarpa var. racemosa L.B.Sm. is based on the illegitimate L. racemosa Mart. , thus authorship is not “(Mart.) L.B.Sm. & A.Fernández”, but otherwise it complies with the requirements for a new name (it was published before 1958, therefore designation of a type is not mandatory).
