Remarks.
Leiochrides pallidor it is a poorly known species and, until now, all descriptions have been incomplete. Chamberlin in his description only mentions that the species has 12 thoracic chaetigers, others features are not useful to characterize that species. Dean (2001) includes Leiochrides cf. pallidor for Costa Rica, which was characterized by the presence of 13 thoracic segments, the first one achaetous, and 12 complete chaetigers with capillary chaetae; however the illustration of the anterior end shows only 11 complete chaetigers with capillary chaetae, however, although the figure is wrong, the identification is correct (Dean pers. comm.)
