This species is known exclusively from California, USA, and Baja California, Mexico. The MABC team collected it at several localities within the Coastal Sage Matorral in June 2020 (10 ♀), and September 2020 (1 ♀), and in Chaparral in October 2020 (1 ♀), May 2021 (1 ♀), and April 2022 (1 ♀). See fig. 173 .
