Material. PIN 3311/2098. Single alate (but wings are not preserved) specimen in a small piece of amber embedded in artificial resin.
Diagnosis. Round rhinaria on antennal segments III–V, two primary rhinaria on segment VI.
Locality and horizon. Russia: Krasnoyarskiy Krai: Taimyrsky (Dolgano-Nenetsky) District: Taimyr Peninsula: right bank of the Maimecha River in 3 km upstream from its confluence with the Kheta River (a left tributary of the Khatanga River), Yantardakh Hill (Yantardakh). Upper horizons of the Kheta Formation.
Redescription. (in mm) Head 0.12 long, 0.19 wide. Front margin slightly rounded. No sutures visible. Compound eyes large, 0.07 diameter, directed downward. In posterior part a pronounced tubercle with triommatidium ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ). Three ocelli, one located ventrally, between the bases of antennae, two located dorsally at the level of the front edge of the eyes. Antennae short and relatively thick, 6-segmented ( Fig. 2A, B View FIGURE 2 ). Last segment with a thickening in the middle part and three apical setae and three pairs of setae below. Setae as long as half of antenna diameter or slightly longer. On segment V a pair of setae. Secondary rhinaria invisible, segments III, IV and V with one round rhinarium each, on segment VI two, round primary rhinaria. Lengths of antennal segments: I-0.02–0.03, II-0.05, III-0.07, IV-0.03, V-0.04, VI-0.07–0.08. Rostrum long, almost reaching the end of abdomen. Last segment 0.05 in length, penultimate segment 0.04. On apical segment four setae and additionally a little appendix with four short spines ( Fig. 2C View FIGURE 2 ).
Thorax 0.22 long. Mesosternum 0.12 in length 0.1 in width (below arms). Anterior margin slightly rounded. Arms relatively large, with horns above transverse suture. Scutum almost as long as wide. Fore wing 0.98 in length, 0.42 in width. Vein M branching at an 80 o angle. Veins CuA arise from main stem independently. CuA 1 2.7 times longer than CuA 2. Hind wing 0.58 in length, 0.21 in width. Legs short. Middle coxa-0.5, hind coxa-0.5, middle trochanter-0.03, hind trochanter-0.03–0.04, middle femur-0.16, hind femur- 0.20–0.22, fore tibia-0.16, middle tibia-0.16, hind tibia- 0.19–0.22, fore tarsus-0.05, middle tarsus-0.05, hind tarsus- 0.04–0.06 (segment I-0.01, segment II-0.04–0.05). On each leg segment short, sparse setae. Trochanter clearly separated. Tarsi short, conical, first segment very tiny, often invisible ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ). Segment I with three setae, segment II with 6–8 setae.
Abdomen 0.19 in length, 0.22 in width (in the broadest part). Segmentation clearly retained. Dorsal part roof-like in shape with flat marginal part. Terga with tuberculate texture. Apex of abdomen with two paired (perhaps bilobed) structures 0.03–0.04 in length ( Fig. 2F, G View FIGURE 2 ). Their surface covered with rows of short hairs or spines and with sparse longer setae at the apex. These structures are located beyond abdominal tergite IX ( Fig. 2G View FIGURE 2 ).
