Description.
Includes Jimgerdemannia and closely-related genera that form a monophyletic group in Endogonales , with the least inclusive clade covering accessions KC 568319, EUK 1631035, JN 890102, UDB 025468 and OU 942919 (Suppl. material 3).
Notes.
Jimgerdemanniaceae covers an ectomycorrhizal genus Jimgerdemannia and six genus-level taxa that are soil-inhabiting, potentially arbuscular mycorrhizal and probably not producing macroscopic fruiting bodies.
