Face 0.8 × as long as wide, strongly punctate and weakly convex ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 22 – 25. J ). Frons densely punctate, with a median longitudinal carina ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 22 – 25. J ). Malar space 1.0 × as long as basal width of mandible. Subocular groove present ( Fig. 22 View FIGURES 22 – 25. J ). Vertex and gena weakly and sparsely punctate. Occiput sparsely punctate. Occipital carina complete. OOL/OD = 1.3. POL/OD = 1.2. Antenna with 31 flagellomeres; first flagellomere 1.2 × as long as second flagellomere.

Mesosoma ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 22 – 25. J ). Propleuron densely punctate. Lateral area of pronotum densely punctate and transversely striated medially. Lateral part of collar weakly punctate. Median lobe of mesoscutum strongly and densely punctate. Lateral lobe of mesoscutum strongly punctate, with median longitudinal rugae. Scutellum sparsely punctate, weakly convex in lateral view. Metapleuron weakly punctate. Propodeum strongly carinate, roundly convex in lateral view ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 22 – 25. J ). Area externa of propodeum rugose and punctate. Area dentipara not clearly defined. Propodeal spiracle elongate ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 22 – 25. J ). Fore wing: length 9.0 mm. Areolet absent. Vein cu-a basad of vein M+cu. Vein 3 rs-m opposite to vein 2 m-cu. Hind wing with vein cu-a intercepted at above the middle. Hind femur 3.2 × as long as maximum depth in lateral view, without blunt ventral tooth ( Fig. 24 View FIGURES 22 – 25. J ). Hind tibia 13.2 × as long as maximum depth. First hind tarsomere 2.3 × as long as second one, 2.7 × as long as inner spur.

Metasoma. T1 2.0 × as long as maximum width, 1.7 × as long as T2. T2 0.7 × as long as maximum width. T1 punctate and weakly striated. Other tergite weakly punctate. Ventral swelling of S1 strongly projecting ( Fig. 25 View FIGURES 22 – 25. J ). Subgenital plate of female reaching abdominal apex. Ovipositor sheath 1.5 × as long as hind tibia.

Coloration. Yellow ( Figs 20, 21). Antennal flagellum without a white band. Fore wing with two discrete dark markings, and apical dark mark of fore wing round shaped and not reaching vein Cu1a. Interocellar area, occiput, dorsal area of hind coxa, dorsal area of hind femur, and hind tarsus claws black. Hind tibia brown. Mesosoma with many black markings. Tegula, hind corner of pronotum, scutellum, postscutellum and propodeum light yellow. Tergites black each with an apical yellow band each segment.

Male. Unknown.

Distribution. Laos.

Bionomics. Host unknown.

Remarks. This new species most resembles J. apicalis from Taiwan, but is easily distinguished from it by the character states shown in the key below.
