( Figs. 1a View FIGURE 1. a – c , 2a View FIGURE 2. a – c , 3a View FIGURE 3. a – d )

Type material. Holotype, 3, CHINA: Qinliangfeng, Lin'an (30°23'N, 119°72'E), Zhejiang Province, 390 m, 19.v.2012, leg. Linlin Yang & Zhenguo Zhang, genitalia slide No. LSR12039.

Description. Adult ( Fig. 1a View FIGURE 1. a – c ): Wing expanse 16.0 mm. Head pale white. Antenna shiny yellow, flagellum blackish brown distally. Labial palpus pale yellow, slightly whitish on inner surface; second segment normally thickened; third segment slender, pointed terminally, a little shorter than second segment. Thorax and tegula orange yellow. Forewing with apex blunt, termen oblique; ground color yellow except orange yellow along costal margin; with a small blackish-brown dot at base; a large, ovate, shiny black spot extending from basal 1/3 under costal margin to near dorsum, its basal half with dense orange-yellow scales, edged with sparse black scales on inner margin; a round, yellowish-brown spot at distal 1/3; distal 1/3 with longitudinal brown to yellowish-brown streaks extending along veins to apex; cilia pale orange yellow. Hindwing yellow, scattered with orange scales; cilia whitish yellow. Fore and mid legs grayish white, except tarsi orange yellow on ventral surface; hind legs grayish white, except tarsi orange yellow, with black band at distal edge of each tarsomere.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 2a View FIGURE 2. a – c ): Uncus lobe with basal 3/4 almost quadrate, distal 1/4 bilobed, rectangular, centrally membranous, almost flatly extending outward. Gnathos with basal 3/5 slightly broad, distal 2/5 tapering to apex. Valva broad in basal 1/4, about twice width of cucullus; cucullus dorso-ventrally parallel-sided, elongate, armed with numerous spines on inner surface, blunt apically; costa straight, basal 1/5 with a deep quadrate incision; costal bar sharply angled dorso-medially, about 1/4 length of valva. Sacculus short, nearly elliptical, about 1/4 length of valva. Juxta protruded antero-medially, blunt on anterior margin, widened medially, arched outward laterally; postero-lateral lobes long spine-like, about 1/2 length of juxta. Aedeagus thick at base, slightly narrowed, nearly parallel-sided to before apex, as long as valva, with two short and rounded dorso-apical lobes; cornuti consisting of a row of fascicular small spines near base, and seven strong nail-like thorns before two apical lobes.

Eighth sternite ( Fig. 3a View FIGURE 3. a – d ): Caudal processes long, about 1/3 length of eighth sternite, broad at base, gradually narrowed to distal 1/3, pointed distally.

Female unknown.

Diagnosis. This new species is similar to I. zonosphaera (Meyrick, 1935) , but can be separated from the latter by the valva with a dorso-ventrally parallel-sided and apically blunt cucullus in the male genitalia, whereas the cucullus of I. zonosphaera is widened distally and obliquely truncated at apex.
