Taxonomic history. No taxonomic changes after the original description.

Current taxonomy. Ischnoceros bicinctus Walker, 1874 ( Ichneumonidae : Xoridinae ?).

Condition. Lost.

Remarks. Morley (1913b) and Townes et al. (1965) reported that the type of Ischnoceros bicinctus is lost. We have also failed to find the holotype female in NHMUK. Walker’s original description of this species is insufficient to identify the species.
