Subgenus Iberocalathus Toribio, 2006 View in CoL

Third antennomere without pubescence. Mentum tooth bifid. Pronotal laterobasal seta removed from side margin. Lateral bead of prosternal process present. Parascutellar seta present. Elytra glabrous with two discal setae in the third interval; discal setae absent in the fifth and seventh intervals. Elytral microsculpture nearly isodiametric. Metepisternum short. Male protarsomeres dilated. Lateral grooves absent on metatarsomeres I-IV. Apical gonocoxite very short, robust, with one ensiform seta at external margin; sensory pit of apical gonocoxite well developed. Aedeagus left side up in repose; median lobe apical disc absent; apical hook of long paramere absent; membranous lobe of short paramere absent.
