DISTRIBUTION: Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Réunion, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Kafue, in Lusaka Province ; Ndola, in Copperbelt Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval food includes undefined decaying vegetable matter ( Hacker 2016) and various grass ( Poaceae ) species ( African Moths 2019).
