Hueikaeana alia Gorochov, 2004 . Russian Entomological Journal. 12(4): 359–368.

Male. Body medium size. Fastigium verticis narrower than scape. Pronotum with anterior edge approximately straight, posterior edge slightly rounded; with 4 transverse sulci and medial carina interrupted: first sulcus interrupted in middle, second sulcus restricted to paranota and separated by an oblique carina on disc, third sulcus v-shaped restricted to disc, fourth sulcus also interrupted in middle, medial carina present before second sulcus and behind fourth sulcus; humeral notch distinct. Tegmina with irregular veinlets, anal edges almost straight, costal edges more or less convex and apical edges rounded; stridulatory vein of left tegmen stout, with stridulatory file about 55 widely arranged teeth, right tegmen with a almost rounded mirror; hind wings longer than tegmina. Epiproct obtuse triangular, in middle slightly concave. Cercus setose, long, conical, moderately curved interno-upwards, widened before apex, apex depressed, reaching beyond tip of subgenital plate. Subgenital plate with parallel lateral edges at base, apical third narrowing slightly towards apex, with longitudinal median raised, apical lobes short with rounded notch in between.

Coloration. Anterior part of disc with almost triangular brown spot; tegmina green, long brown stripe along proximal branch of subcostal vein, stridulatory area of left tegmen with brown spots on proximate base and distal median part, several large brown spots along anal edges and apical edges of tegmina as well as edges of exposed part of hind wings, small analogous spots along costal edges in apical half, numerous spots along radial sector veins of tegmina; abdomen green with many small red spots; cerci yellowish green, subgenital plate light green.

Measurements (mm). Male. Length of body: 14.0–21.0; length of body with wings: 32.0–35.0; length of pronotum: 3.9–4.2; width of pronotum: 2.5; length of tegmina: 23.5–26.5; length of hind wings exposed part: 4.0–5.5; length of posterior femora: 13.0–13.5.
