Diagnosis. The forewing length is 18 mm in the holotype male. The species is characterised by the long rami of the antennae, the relatively broad triangular forewing with an ash-grey ground colour and diffuse pattern. The detailed comparison with H. batanga sp. n. is provided above in the diagnosis of the latter species.

Distribution. Known only from the type locality in south-eastern Xizang (Southwestern China) ( Hreblay et al. 1998).
