Supplementary description. Male ( Fig. 16A View FIGURE 16 , 17 View FIGURE 17 A–G). Aedeagus ( Figs 17 View FIGURE 17 C–E), nearly symmetrical, abdominal ventrite VIII ( Fig. 17G View FIGURE 17 ) deeply split medially at posterior margin and with long dense hair at hind margin. Spiculum gastrale ( Fig. 17F View FIGURE 17 ) not symmetrical, short, with large apical lobes.
Female ( Fig. 16B View FIGURE 16 , 17H – I View FIGURE 17 ) similar to males. Ventrite VIII ( Fig. 17H View FIGURE 17 ) slightly split medially at posterior margin and covered with long dense hairs. spiculum ( Fig. 17H View FIGURE 17 ) tortuous near straight, apex rounded and slightly dilated. Apex of ovipositor ( Fig. 1.7I View FIGURE 1 ) with one long hair and two pairs of much shorter hairs.
Distribution. Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, China: Yunan.
Comments. Hexarhopalus (Leprocaulus) difformis was originally described from Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, and is herein newly recorded from Yunnan, China.
