Hexapopha osa Platnick, Berniker & Víquez, 2014: 12 , figs 96–121 (Male holotype and female paratype from 5 km W of Rincón de Osa, Peninsula de Osa , Puntarenas, Costa Rica, PBI_OON 10540, at FMNH, examined); WSC 2021.

Diagnosis. Males resemble those of H. hone and H. reimoseri by the presence of a proximal subtriangular projection on the conductor ( Platnick et al. 2014: figs 21, 70); differs from those H. hone by the wide, lamellar endite’s P2 ( Platnick et al. 2014: fig. 98) and from those H. reimoseri by the labium anterior margin not indented at middle ( Platnick et al. 2014: fig. 97). Females are similar to those of H. hone , H. reimoseri and H. jimenez by the internal copulatory opening, positioned under the epigastric plate ( Platnick et al. 2014: figs 59–69, 85–86, 94–95) but can be distinguished from those species by the postepigastric plate three times wider than long and by the thin, straight arms of T-shaped genitalic process ( Platnick et al. 2014: figs 120–121).
