Material. NIGP 174880b, female. Body well-preserved, antennae obscured with air bubbles, wings badly twisted, venation hardly distinguishable.
Remarks. The specimen NIGP174880b is identified as a member of Heteroichneumon by the numerous (ca. 20) flagellomeres, structure of notauli, fore wing without r-m, hind wing with 1-Rs rather long, nervellus broken below middle and 2-Cu present, ovipositor needle-shaped. In preserved characters the specimen is very close to H. rasnitsyni , but differs in larger body size: fore wing length 2.5 mm (vs. 1.7 mm in H. rasnitsyni ).
The state of preservation of the specimen, especially almost indistinguishable venation, keeps us from describing a new species. Considering the significant size difference, however, we suppose that this specimen belongs to another species of Heteroichneumon .
