( Figs.7–9 View FIGURES )
Diagnosis. This species is similar to H. zhaoi sp. nov. in having the head as long as wide, first flagellomere more than twice as long as pedicel, but differs from the latter mainly by having the distance between posterior margin of eyes and occipital carina much shorter than length of first flagellomere, lateral spines 0.60x as long as propodeal disc medially, T2 densely and deeply punctate and T3–T6 microreticulate anteriorly. In contrast, H. zhaoi has a shorter gena, shorter lateral spines of the propodeum and metasoma with a different punctation.
Description. Holotype male. Body length 6.50 mm. Fore wing length 3.31 mm.
Colouration. Body black, except ventral surface of flagellomeres 1–4, mandible, clypeus, trochanters, tibiae and tarsi, T3–T6 reddish translucent. Wings hyaline; fore wing light brown, vein brown.
Vestiture. Head and thorax with white hairs. T 1 laterally, T 2 laterally and posteriorly, and Ts 3–6 with white hairs; Ss with denser white hairs.
Structure. Head dull, as long as wide; strongly convergent behind eyes; posterior margin straight in dorsal view, with some distinct pits along occipital carina; rounded posterolaterally. Eye 1.11x as long as wide (10: 9), convex, with sparse erect white hairs. Malar space 0.57x as long as eye (4: 7). Distance between posterior margin of eye and occipital carina 0.75x as long as first flagellomere (21: 28). Antenna gradually narrowed towards apex, flagellomeres 2–10 nearly parallelsided; length (and width) of antennal segments in following proportions: 30.0 (11.0): 12.0 (9.0): 28.0 (10.5): 22.0 (10.0): 22.0 (9.5): 21.0 (9.0): 21.0 (8.0): 20.5 (7.0): 20.0 (6.5): 19.5 (6.0): 19.0 (6.0): 16.0 (5.5): 21.0 (5.0); flagellar hairs short, about half as long as width of last flagellomere. Anterolateral margin of clypeus rectangular. Frons densely, coarsely and deeply punctate, interspaces narrower than punctures. POL: OOL=13: 20. Pronotum dull, with anterior corners nearly rectangular, slightly protruding laterally; slightly concave laterally; posterior margin slightly concave in dorsal view. Mesoscutum somewhat shining, with fine scattered punctures; notauli very deep and sharply margined; longitudinal furrow not developed; transverse furrow between mesoscutum and scutellum deep and with pair of deep pits laterally; scutellum weakly shining, with 10 large scattered punctures posteriorly. Episternum deeply punctate. Propodeal disc much less than half as long as wide (8: 22); lateral margin of propodeal disc slightly divergent; lateral spines 0.60x as long as propodeal disc medially (14: 23); all carinae on dorsal surface well developed; sublateral carinae extending to lateral spines; lateral surface of propodeum irregularly wrinkled, upper margin with a parallel strong carina reaching only to vertical edge of disc but not to lateral spine, posterior margin with two parallel strong carinae. Metasoma smooth; T1 impunctate; T2 densely and deeply punctate; T3–T6 microreticulate anteriorly and impunctate posteriorly.
Female. Unknown.
Type material. Male holotype, China, Fujian Province, Fuzhou , 26.05°N, 119.18°E, 3.VII.1990, coll. Naiquan LIN, No. 967530 GoogleMaps .
Etymology. The specific name derives from the Latin adjective sinensis (inhabiting China).
