Tigasis perloides (Plötz, 1882) , new combination
Currently in Cymaenes Scudder, 1872 (type species Cobalus tripunctus Herrich-Schäffer, 1865 ), Hesperia perloides Plötz, 1882 (type locality Brazil) is not monophyletic with it and instead is sister to Tigasis Godman, 1900 (type species Tigasis zalates Godman, 1900 ) ( Fig. 13 View Figure 13 ). COI barcode difference between H. perloides and T. zalates is 7.6% (50 bp), and we propose that they are congeneric, implying Tigasis perloides (Plötz, 1882) , new combination.
